Almost everything blogged and over-blogged about the VMAs has been obvious and mass market. I mean really, how many bloggers does it take to screw in a lightbulb, or someone's career? There's the stuff that happens on the stage during the broadcast and at the clubs where people wave their camera phones at celebrities like lighters at an '80s arena rock concert.

What you don't always see is the behind-the-scenes action at the hospitality suites where stars are pampered and gifted and able to hang out without worrying if their muffin tops have been properly oiled and set properly with the flab to denim ratio.

At the TAO Vegas hospitality suites at the Venetian, stars like Ashanti (pictured above) were able to load up on celeb perks like swag and goodies from Express, Disney Couture, Kenneth Cole Fragrance, Luxotica Eyewear, Treesje handbags, Oceanaut watches, Keratase, WOW Creations and Luxury Air Jets.

If celebs got tired of the free shopping and the pampering they could head over to the Xbox Oasis at TAO Beach like Kanye (pictured). There's a great picture you have to click below of Eve, Bobby Lee and Lil Jon playing Xbox which leads me to think, those three could start the next big movie franchise -- Bobby Lee and Lil Jon buddy cop movies set in Vegas with Eve as the sexy, demanding boss. I digress.

Not all the stars want the treatment, though. Most celebs were hanging out and having a good time like Pharrell (pictured), but singer Robin Thicke refused swag gifts by saying, "Please give it to someone that needs it." Some people are so heavy.

Other celebs stopping by the tent include, but not limited to, Nelly, Yung Joc, Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris, Diddy, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, Kevin Connelly, Jacob the Jeweler, Ciara and the cast of 'The Hills.' Linkin Park also performed over the weekend for the release of 'Halo 3.'

Former 'Grey's Anatomy' star and future 'Private Practice' star Kate Walsh wasn't so private at her recent bachelorette party at TAO, celeb party central in Vegas. Kate and her pretty posse that included Sara Ramirez, also from 'Grey's Anatomy,' had a wild time dancing on the tables and catwalk (below) at The Venetian hotspot.

Given the fact that the 39-year-old has only been engaged to movie exec Alex Young for three months and a date for the nuptials has not been set, could a quickie Vegas wedding be around the corner?

Well we'll have to wait and see. According to Clark County records, the last Vegas bride named Kate Walsh got hitched in 2006. Just in case things got way out of control, I even checked Vegas marriages for her 'Grey's' character name, Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery and for Nicki Fifer, her character from 'The Drew Carey Show' -- no such luck. But you never know. Scary Spice got married last month in Vegas before publicly punking Eddie Murphy for the lack of child support.

Browsing the photos from TAO, I've seen that look in people before in Vegas. Everything starts out fun and routine with sparklers and a couple of cocktails and then people dance on tables and then they end up 'Rossed and Racheled' with marks on their faces and a very real marriage certificate. Unfortunately for those folks, when it comes to the "What Happens in Vegas ..." slogan, holy matrimony (heck, even unholy matrimony) isn't one of those things that stays in Vegas. You take the legally binding agreement home with you.

Wedding-related activities Kate did indulge aside from the wild partying at TAO's nightclub until 1:30AM included typical bachelorette events like relaxing by the pool in a private cabana at TAO Beach with friends, having a workout and then obligatory clothing-challenged "adult entertainers" performing dancing duties in her hotel room. Later on, they had a dinner a TAO's restaurant, downstairs from the nightclub.

Until they set a date or you hear something about an L.A. wedding on TMZ, stay tuned here for any Vegas-related activity in this continuing news event.

It's no secret that celebrities love to party in Vegas. Paris and Nicky Hilton, Britney Spears, Hugh Hefner, Vince Neil and Charles Barkley are just a few names that come to mind when thinking of wild nights in Sin City.

These days however, more and more celebrities are choosing to stay longer than a weekend and taking up part-time jobs "to make ends meet." No, you probably won't find Britney waiting tables at Hooters or Paris tending bar at PURE, but you will find Jenny McCarthy dealing blackjack and Pamela Anderson on-stage as a magician's assistant. Ah, only in Vegas ...

Check out what Pamela, Jenny and a few other TV celebrities are up to as part-time employees in Sin City:

PAMELA ANDERSON

After money and lights, there are few things more synonymous with Las Vegas than magic and beautiful women. Enter Pamela Anderson, who is currently working in Vegas as a magician's assistant.

No, that's not a joke. Anderson plays assistant to magician Hans Klok in 'The Beauty of Magic,' a new show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The job, originally held by Carmen Electra, who vanished after a few weeks of rehearsing, is one Anderson is very excited about. "I love magic! I love doing things out of the ordinary and of course I'm always up for an adventure, as this will definitely be one," she said.

No word yet on whether Pamela has asked Hans to make her memories of Tommy Lee and Kid Rock disappear.

TONY DANZA

On Aug. 13, Vegas will collectively sing, "Hold me Closer Tony Danza," as the 'Who's the Boss?' star begins an 18-week engagement in the Mel Brooks' hit 'The Producers.' Danza will fill a celebrity void that was left in the musical once David Hasselhoff skipped town earlier this year. However, instead of taking over the role of cross-dressing director Roger DeBris, which the Hoff played to perfection, Danza will take over for Brad Oscar as Max Bialystock, one of the shows two lead roles.

This won't be a problem for Danza, who has already played the role on Broadway for three months. We only hope that Danza won't have any Hoff-like hamburger issues during his stay in Vegas.

JENNY MCCARTHY
The former Playboy Playmate of the Year cum-actress, cum-best-selling-author Jenny McCarthy is about to add a new job to her lengthy resume; blackjack dealer. Yes, you read that right. On Saturday, Aug. 4, from 9PM to midnight, McCarthy will slip into a vintage black Bunny costume, complete with a cute cottontail, and deal blackjack at the Playboy Club atop the Palms Casino Resort.

Talk about a brilliant idea. While you're deciding whether to hit on 16, you can hit on one of the most memorable Playmates of all time. Of course, this just means that you have a 100 percent chance of going bust at least 50 percent of the time. No matter what happens, you'll come away with the kind of story that can only be written in Las Vegas.


JOHN O' HURLEY
Another former TV star who has taken on a part-time job in a Vegas production is John O' Hurley. Best known for his recurring role as J. Peterman on 'Seinfeld,' O' Hurley goes from catalog sales to the round table in the role of King Arthur in Monty Python's 'Spamalot' at the Wynn.

The musical, created by Monty Python alum Eric Idle, has been a hit in Vegas since opening in March and O' Hurley has played a huge part in its success. However, since he commutes back and forth from Los Angeles to Vegas almost every day, O' Hurley hasn't been in town long enough for us to amass stories of his wild nights on the Strip. But, there's still time.

WAYNE BRADY
Already known for his hilarious improv skills, which were showcased on 'Whose Line is it Anyway,' and 'The Wayne Brady Show,' and currently on 'Don't Forget the Lyrics!,' comedian Wayne Brady is now a permanent headliner at The Venetian in a show called 'Making %@IT Up.'

Just as the name suggests, the show will rely heavily on improv, but there will also be a classic Vegas variety show feel, with singing, dancing and a three-piece band. In the words of one reviewer, it's "Old-school Vegas entertainment with new-Vegas cool."

Britney Spears was at TAO over the weekend and if this was earlier in the year, we would all assume that means she drank until 4AM or until she passed out, whichever came first. However, this is a new and improved Britney and Dom Perignon has been replaced with Dom Pepsi and she was only dining at the restaurant inside the entertainment complex.

Britney's need to be close to the restroom as descirbed in the spy report below is interesting, but we're glad to see the major drama is gone and Britney is doing well.

"She was with two other girls and one very big security guard with her named Tony. They arrived through the back door and sat at a table by the bathrooms. TAO staff were told to seat the party by the restrooms because Britney would need to use the restroom a lot. TAO staff was also advised not to serve her any alcohol. She was wearing a hat, blonde wig and a light coat. Very casual. They ate vegetable dumplings, hot edamame, California rolls and all split a wasabi fillet. She drank Pepsi and her friends drank ice tea. She was very sweet and polite to the waiter. Britney seemed to be enjoying the attention she was receiving as she was at a table in a very visible area on the way to the bathroom. They were in and out of TAO in about 1 hour."

There's been so many star-spottings at Steve Martorano's new Rio hotspot since the NBA All-Star Game, we didn't realize that he hadn't thrown a proper opening party. Boxer Vinny Pazienza also took in the sights, bites and sounds of Chef Martorano's party cafe where he spins the pasta and the records.

Rita Rudner will be around performing on the Strip for at least three more years after agreeing to an extension today from Harrah's Las Vegas. In a run that began six years ago, the actress, author and comedian has seen the Strip landscape drastically change and with her new deal, she should still be headlining nightly as City Center and Echelon Place open for business later this decade to join resort extensions Encore at Wynn and the Palazzo at the Venetian.

Rita's run has been so successful she should be selling her millionth ticket sometime next year and in the more immediate future, Harrah's will be adding a 6PM show in May and a special discount for locals. Rita is currently working on her fifth book, 'I Can't Believe I"m Filfthy' and LUXE LIFE readers may remember that it wasn't even a year ago when she released her book, 'Turning the Tables' and penned a guest column for LUXE LIFE.

Rita is always quick with the one-liners, even in the press release.

Even though it was only in mid February during her own birthday celebration, it seems like it has been forever since the last time LUXE LIFE had this many Paris Hilton Vegas sightings in one night.

Paris was in Vegas with her rumored flame, Josh Henderson from 'Desperate Housewives,' and sister Nicky Hilton to celebrate several birthday parties, including that of Nicky's beaufriend, David Katzenberg. The group took in the World Extreme Cagefighting championship at The Joint at the Hard Rock where they ran into Vegas power couple UFC fighter Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson, who has been fighting her own battle against critics lately about her divorce-related weight loss.

Night two of Hugh Hefner's Vegas birthday bash was HQ'd at the Playboy Club and Moon Nightclub atop the Fantasy Tower at the Palms where Hef and his 'Girl Next Door' girlfriends held court after dinner at N9NE Steakhouse.

Holly, Bridget and Kendra stood on the furniture to toast Hef while Holly looked ravishing in her party dress and Kendra got a DJ lesson from DJ R.O.B. earlier and then rocked the turntables at the party. Even Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky Hilton stopped by to wish Hef a happy birthday.

Other party stars included Edward Norton, Jeff Ross, Joel McHale, Jeff Garcia, David Copperfield, Stephan Lessard, Jon Lovitz, Baywatchers David Hasselhoff and Donna D'Errico.

The lines to get in the club were massive until 4AM.

The 'Do Not Disturb' signs at the Palms will be very much in use tonight and tomorrow morning as the festivities for day three of Hef's birthday celebration center around a Playmate Sleepover at the Palms.

THE STARS NEXT DOOR

During Hugh Hefner's birthday weekend here in Vegas, his 'Girls Next Door' girlfriends received their Brenden Celebrity Star. Presenting Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson with the honor was movieplex mogul Johnny Brenden at his Brenden Theatres inside the Palms.

The lovely ladies join Hef, Shaq, Toni Braxton, CineVegas chair and legendary actor Dennis Hopper and Cuba Gooding, Jr. just to name to name a few who have also received their Brenden Celebrity Star honors in Vegas. Click here to see more photos of the ceremony from Scott M. Doctor.

Kevin Federline hosted his birthday party at PURE where the buzz was related to the appearance of his Ex and the mother of his children.

No, it's not the Ex and babies' momma you're thinking about, but it does make for interesing gossip fodder.

Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, better known as 'The Girls Next Door' are getting their own Brenden Celebrity Star at Brenden Theatres inside the Palms this weekend. The buxom beauties will be joining their famous boyfriend, Hugh Hefner, who already has a celebrity star as well as Toni Braxton, Shaq, Dennis Hopperand Cuba Gooding, Jr. who just received his star this past weekend as reported right here in the pages of LUXE LIFE.

The festivities will undoubtedly be part of the weekend-long birthday celebration for the Girls' beaufriend at the Palms and Playboy Club who, for the first time sense moving into Playboy West, is celebrating his birthday outside of the Mansion. LUXE LIFE is assuming the legendary Grotto will have to be replaced by the luxury infinity pools in the sky villa.

Airing on E! Entertainment in its third season, 'The Girls Next Door' has become a reality television sensation. The show has become the highest rated show on the network with an extremely loyal female following. It is also the No. 1 show among ad-supported cable programs for the evening with key demos Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Women 18-49. It has also become an international hit, airing in more than 120 countries around the world.

We start with Cuba Gooding, Jr. who gets his own star-spotting section as he was tireless during his Vegas weekend premiering his new film "What Love Is' at Brenden Theatres at the Palms. He joins other celebs like Shaquille O' Neal, Toni Braxton and Hugh Hefner to name a few to receive a Brenden Celebrity Star and was spotted at Little Buddha at the Palms with multiplex mogul, Johnny Brenden. Pictured above with 'What Love Is' co-star Mars Callahan, he was spotted multiple nights at the Playboy Club and Moon Nightclub at the Palms where he hosted his movie premiere after-party.

Cuba also took in The Dan Band performance at The Joint in the Hard Rock and gave them a standing ovation. Before the group's show he played blackjack for a couple of hours with friends at the casino.
